My name is Katya Nicholas. I've been photographing people—on and off—since I was 9 years old. Today, my mission is to bring your brilliance into focus through photography and coaching that doesn't flatter, but translates who you are into compelling, emotionally intelligent visuals.
Unlike most photographers, I often get in front of the camera myself because I need to know what it feels like when a camera is pointed at you.
Or because I need to run a visual study to help my clients understand how specific visual concepts communicate specific messages.
That's how my recent Color Study series was born: a set of self-portraits exploring how color, styling, and body language shape brand voice.
